Southeast Healthcare Services Celebrates National Health Center Week 2018

Southeast, Inc. will hold a Health Fair to mark National Health Center Week 2018.  The event is part of a national campaign during the week of August 12th-18h to raise awareness about the mission and accomplishments of America’s Health Centers and the dedicated staff who bring health care to the medically underserved.

Southeast, Inc. will host a Health Fair for the Community that is free and open to the public on Wednesday, August 15 from 1:00 – 4:00 pm at the Franklin Station location located at 524 W. Broad Street, Columbus Ohio 43215. Some of the screenings we will provide are blood pressure checks, BMI, cholesterol checks, A1C/Diabetes, safe sex education and condoms handouts, smoking cessation, homeless information, Medicaid sign-up, behavioral health information, addiction treatment information, YMCA memberships information, Recovery Works information, PREP, Dental Clinic info, NARCAN information, tour of our clinic and free giveaways!

EMDR Therapy Now Offered at Southeast, Inc.

Southeast Healthcare Services (Southeast, Inc.) is now offering Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy as an integrative psychotherapy approach and has been extensively researched and proven effective for the treatment of trauma. EMDR is a set of standardized protocols that incorporates elements from many different treatment approaches. To date, EMDR therapy has helped millions of people of all ages relieve many types of psychological stress.

EMDR Therapy can be used for the treatment of: Panic attacks, Complicated grief, Dissociative disorders, Disturbing memories, Phobias, Pain disorders, Performance anxiety, Stress reduction, Addictions, Sexual and/or Physical abuse, Body dysmorphic disorders, and Personality Disorders. Additionally, EMDR Therapy is a good alternative for individuals who have not responded to talk therapy in the past.

ADAMH, Southeast Healthcare and Columbus Division of Fire Join Forces with Rapid Response Emergency Addiction and Crisis Team (RREACT) Pilot Program

The Alcohol, Drug and Mental Health (ADAMH) Board of Franklin County is proud to announce a partnership with Southeast Healthcare and the Columbus Division of Fire to immediately address access to treatment for those involved in addiction-related mental health crisis incidents.  A two-year pilot program, funded by ADAMH at $496,490 each year has kicked off in the Central Ohio area utilizing a collaborative model to enhance patient access to healthcare services and treatment for substance use disorders, improve disposition of patients throughout the community healthcare systems and provide a systems-based approach to continuity of care.

Southeast Healthcare Services Now Serving Adults in Delaware and Morrow Counties in Ohio

Southeast, Inc., (DBA Southeast Healthcare Services) a non–profit comprehensive mental health, chemical dependency, vocational, physical healthcare, and homeless services organization, is proud to announce that it is expanding services for adults with mental health needs and co-occurring substance use disorders in Delaware and Morrow Counties, Ohio.

Services include behavioral health assessments, individual and group counseling, community- based case management, peer support, psychiatric services, vocational services, benefits counseling, criminal justice inreach and relinkage from corrections to the community, and daytime crisis intervention. Southeast has a history of providing innovative services, responsiveness to community needs and has a strong focus on evidence-based practices in support of consumers and their recovery.

Southeast, Inc. & Franklin County Public Health Partner for Free Naloxone Distribution Kits to Combat Opioid Overdose

Franklin County Public Health (FCPH) and Southeast Integrated Healthcare Services (Southeast, Inc.), a comprehensive provider of behavioral and physical healthcare services, have partnered to offer free naloxone nasal spray kits. Naloxone (also known as Narcan) is a life-saving drug that can reverse the effects of an opioid overdose when administered in time. These efforts are part of a community wide effort to increase access to Naloxone for counties with high heroin and fentanyl-related deaths. Read More read more
